The Official Launch (Bulawayo)
The official launch was hosted in Bulawayo on Saturday, 21 March, from 11 am at White City Stadium. The opening fixtures featured Bulawayo City F.C. taking on Hwange F.C., followed by Nkayi United F.C. facing Talen Vision F.C. — a lineup that blended local rivalries with a rising competitive edge.
Positioned as more than just a match day, the launch event was designed as a full fan experience. Free entry lowered barriers to access and drove mass community participation, reinforcing Bulawayo as both the cultural and operational hub of the Southern Region Soccer League.

Tactical Mastery and On-Field Brilliance
Head Coach Zibonele Ncube expressed immense joy after finally collecting the long-awaited three points, praising his players for teamwork, discipline, and hunger to win. New striker Ian announced himself in style, netting two goals and proving to be the missing piece in the Herentals attack. The midfield and defensive units stood firm to secure a second consecutive clean sheet.
Uplifting the Community
Beyond the pitch, Coach Zibonele called on the Victoria Falls community to continue backing the team, emphasising that football is playing a pivotal role in keeping young people away from drugs and negative influences while building a brighter future for local talent. Congratulations to Vic Falls City Herentals, their technical team, the passionate supporters, and dedicated sponsors HydroTech Drilling and Victoria Falls Fruit & Veg for continuing to uplift community football alongside the grand vision of the Southern Region Soccer League.
